What can change your final payment?

Confirm the payable weight or volume, rate, quality adjustments, freight, and any other agreed charges. A higher headline price may produce a lower net payment if the supplier pays additional costs.

Compare like with like

Compare offers using the same inventory, measurement unit, loading site, and transportation responsibilities. Gallons and pounds are different units; use the agreed measurement method instead of assuming a fixed conversion.

Illustrative calculation

At a hypothetical rate of $0.30 per payable pound, 46,000 pounds would have a gross value of $13,800. If the agreed supplier-paid freight were $1,000, the net would be $12,800 before any other agreed adjustments. This is an arithmetic example, not a current Zeitco quote or a typical transaction.

Quality and acceptance

Disclose water, solids, mixed materials, and other known concerns. Share available test results and ask which specifications apply to your load. Acceptance and deductions must be discussed for the specific transaction.
